Vintage Inoue Tosuke Kikusui Steel Kamisori + Custom Strop Set ~ Hand Wrapped Rattan Japanese Straight Razor w/ Original Box in NOS condition!

This is a gorgeous example of one of the highest quality Inoue Tosuke blades ever produced. This is due to the fact that it is made of a solid piece of high purity and fine grain structure Kikusui steel. This steel allows for a very fine edge that will hold its sharpness longer than other steels. Since Kikusui steel has not been produced for many years, these are very special and rare vintage blades.

To add to the authentic kamisori experience, this blade has been artfully hand wrapped with natural rattan. This gives you a firm and comfortable grip while shaving.

Along with the kamisori, this wooden based leather strop is a perfect companion. These were custom made out of a block of wood with a soft leather hide attached. The width is designed to be perfect for these kikusui blades. It has two sides. One flat stropping surface and another convex stropping surface for a more delicate stropping effect. The leather has a luxurious smooth draw that makes these edges shine. It is also very soft and has some cushion behind it. There are a few little dents in the leather which don’t affect the performance of the strop.

These razors have been decoratively boxed to signify their exceptional quality. I have some of these in my personal rotation because they shave smoother than the majority of kamisori that I have tested (I have tested a lot!). These are a choice addition to any shave rotation and a luxurious way to spice up your daily shave!
