Vintage Hayashi H.Diamond 8000 Hollow Grind Japanese straight razor in NOS condition w/ Original Box!

Produced in the 1960’s, this Hayashi is a rare and coveted blade. So rare in fact, it will be impossible to find one of these in NOS condition ever again. It is made out of Austrian Schoeller Bleckmann Phönix (aka Phoenix) high carbon steel which is known for its fine grain and hardness. It takes a lazer sharp edge which shaves closely and comfortably. These kinds of exotic alloys are found in the highest quality Japanese blades of this era. The smoke swirl scales on this razor are so elegant and intriguing that I cant stop gazing at this blade. Its seriously may be one of the most beautiful razors that I have seen. The weight of this blade feels so right in the hand. Due to the mass, you will be impressed how easily this razor shaves through even the heaviest growth. It is quite nimble in tight areas as well.
